Arimidex vs Clomid
Arimidex vs Clomid
Arimidex and Clomid are compared here on the things that actually differ between them: what class each belongs to, what each acts on, how each is supplied and what each costs per milligram. Where the registry has no figure for one of them the row is left out rather than filled in.
Reference only. This page covers what the compound is, how it is presented and how it is handled. It does not give dosing protocols or administration schedules, and it is not medical advice.

Raises gonadotropin output by blocking hypothalamic oestrogen feedback. |

| Half-life | Approximately 50 hours. | Mixed: the zuclomiphene isomer persists far longer than enclomiphene, which is why washout is prolonged. |

What actually differs
The clearest difference is class: Arimidex is a Non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, Clomid is a selective oestrogen receptor modulator (SERM). Half-life differs as well: Approximately 50 hours for Arimidex against Mixed: the zuclomiphene isomer persists far longer than enclomiphene, which is why washout is prolonged for Clomid.
